Brainstorm! is an infinite game we play at Balena. During brainstorm!, the players go through the issues that have come up in the relevant queue since the last session, and attempt to provide the highest-possible quality answers. brainstorm! sessions are scoped by loop and type. The two types of brainstorm! are “product” for questions around “what” we want to do (i.e. what can be done to reduce a certain kind of friction for users), and “architecture” for “how” questions, such as “how should a certain feature be implemented”.
